Commenting

It was brought to my attention that some of you may have failed to comment because the instructions were unclear or otherwise nonexistent.

SO, here are instructions for leaving a comment, which is highly encouraged and will be praised endlessly:

1. Click on the "Comments" link at the bottom right hand corner of each post (you will notice that one says "0 comments" and one says "1 comment" - a super human being has finally commented and will be rewarded justly)

2. A box appears. Type your comment in the box. At the bottom of the window, you can either choose to leave your name by typing it in or you can remain anonymous by clicking the icon next to "Anonymous."

3. Click "Publish Your Comment"

Now that you have adequate instructions, I expect to see 45-173 comments posted by next Sunday.

More posts to come later in the week...

A Knight to Remember (oh man that's cheesey)

This past Saturday night was the "Knight of Murder" mystery game that we played at the church. Even though most of us didn't have a clue as to what we were doing, it was a lot of fun and I think will be even better the next time we do it. Someone from our class (Andrea Gwaltney) even turned out to be the murder, but only one person (Tripp Sightler) correctly solved the crime. If you couldn't make it Saturday, check out some of the pictures from the extravaganza. As you can see, we had some awesome hairpieces show up.

Don't forget to pray for each other this week (Sunday's prayer requests are posted on the left), because we NEED each other's prayers!

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Warning: First time blogger

If you're reading this, then you've heard about the newest project of our Sunday School class - a blog that I'm starting, for a couple of reasons:

1. To keep you informed about what we're doing

2. To give you a chance to give me some feedback (sometimes it's easier to think about it throughout the week and give me feedback when you're in your jammies at 10:30 at night instead of when I put you on the spot at church)

3. To remind you to pray for others in the class - I'll have the prayer requests posted every week.

4. To try something new

Listen, people, my wife is the blogger in the family, not me, so if you have comments - leave them. If you have suggestions for the class, the blog, or for a great chocolate cake recipe, let me hear it. I'll be posting a couple of times a week, unless I get addicted to this and quit my job to post 24/7. So check back to see what I've added and what's going on in the class - and by all means, come see us on Sunday mornings at 10!!
